Mexico Public Safety Report For 8/21/19

CALL FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Tuesday).

Harassment at Mars.

A suspicious vehicle at Venus and East Love.

Leaving without paying for gas on West Monroe.

An ex-parte violation at North Missouri.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A 2 car rear end accident on Highway 54 at East Liberty yesterday (Tuesday) in Mexico.

According to the accident report it happened just before 1pm.

A vehicle driven by 35 year old Scottie Barnhill of Illinois was behind a vehicle driven by 48 year old Dawn Worley of Iowa.

Barnhill told officers he thought the vehicle in front was moving, looked away and accelerated. No injuries reported.
