Local Online Sales Tax For City Of Mexico Could Be On April Ballot
The Mexico City Council may ask their voters to approve a local online sales tax on the April ballot in 2020.

City councilman Chris Williams says the issue is a matter of fairness.
Williams says if approved some of the money would to building a new swimming pool.
The online sales tax would be about 2 percent and if approved it is estimated to generate about one hundred and fifty thousand dollars for the City of Mexico.
