Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 21-year-old Jzyeshawn A. Staehle-Palmer for an Audrain County warrant and a Parole and Probation warrant on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

38-year-old Christine M. Gilbert was arrested for an Audrain County warrant on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, September 13, 2024:

  • Child abuse or neglect on East Anderson.
  • Domestic verbal incident at South Missouri.
  • Assault without injury on South Muldrow/Western.
  • Fraud at North Coal.
  • Threats on South Calhoun.
  • Harassment at 1535 East Liberty.
  • Suspicious person on East Breckenridge.
  • Structure fire at Franklin Road/Christopher Drive.
  • Careless and imprudent drive at 2783 South Clark.

Public Safety went to these calls on Saturday, September 14, 2024:

  • Suspicious person on Bougainville and at Hazel Place/Morris/West Street.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, September 15, 2024:

  • Domestic verbal incident at South Coal.
  • Suspicious vehicle on North Olive/Bourne and at West Jackson.
  • Suspicious person on Curtis.
  • Harassment at the North Western apartment building.

Car accidents:

No injuries reported following a two-car accident on Monroe at Kentucky on Friday, September 13, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Jennifer Case of Mexico entered an intersection that was not clear, and started backing up but was unable to back up quick enough and collided with a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Jessica Webb of Martinsburg.

No injuries reported after a two-car accident on South Clark at Promenade during the evening hours of Sunday, September 15, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Mary Warren of Mexico stopped at the intersection and drove north colliding with a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Mexico girl.
