Two men have been charged in Audrain County after a 13 year old girl was found to be pregnant after a visit to a medical clinic.
According to the probable cause statements, The Audrain County detective met with the girl and she originally stated 19 year old Gerald Walker Jr. of Laddonia was the father of her child. The girl told the investigator he was aware of her age.
The probable cause statement says Walker Jr. admitted to having intercourse with the girl once while they were dating between April and June of 2018. He also said he ended the relationship when he learned her age.
During an interview with the detective, the girl changed her story and said her 23 year old boyfriend, Dereck Turnage of Hannibal was the father of the child.
She said she had intercourse with him when he stayed at her home in Martinsburg overnight when her mother was out of town. She also alleged they had sex in 3 different counties.
According to court records, upon their arrests Walker Jr. and Turnage will not be granted bond.
