The Boone County Fire Protection District announced today [Friday] Missouri Task Force One has been activated for deployment to Florida ahead of Hurricane Dorian.
Missouri Task Force One will deploy as a Type III force of 45 personnel with an emphasis on water rescue capabilities.
The current destination of the crew is Naval Air Station in Jacksonville.
They will be departing Boone County Fire Headquarters by 6:00 tonight. [Friday]
