Columbia Police are detaining 2 people after an attempted traffic stop leads to a brief chase.
According to the department around 2:30 this (Thursday) morning officers attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle, and the car took off, prompting them to create a perimeter for a search near Grace Lane, St. Charles Road and Richland Road.
The perimeter in the neighborhood was collapsed a little after 5.
Boone County Sheriff’s and their K-9’s are still searching for 2 remaining suspects.
