Hahn had not pitched since June 28th, 2017 when he was with the Oakland A’s, coming off a elbow repair surgery last August.
The NFL season opener last (Thursday) night saw the Green Bay Packers defeat the Chicago Bears 10-3.
The Packers offense ignited early in the second quarter as Aaron Rodgers completed 4 straight passes for 74 yards, capped by an 8 yard touchdown toss to tight end Jimmy Graham.
In other NFL news the Antonio Brown saga continues as sources say the Oakland Raiders are now planning to suspend its star wide receiver.
Brown and Raiders general manager Mike Mayock got into a heated exchange on Wednesday, over Brown’s Instagram post in which he displayed a letter from the GM that detailed $54,000 in fines from missing time during training camp.
The Raiders have yet to announce anything official regarding a potential suspension, although Mayock told reporters that Brown was not at the facility yesterday (Thursday) and would not be practicing.
