Two Charged For Drugs, Endangering Children

Charges were filed against two people in Audrain County after three children were allegedly exposed to methamphetamine in their home.

42 year old Quentin Bennett and 37 year old Stephanie Matich were arrested after investigators reportedly found meth, scales, butane torches and a glass pipe in a dresser.

Additionally, a girl in the home was dirty and had head lice, and a boy had been without a prescription for Adderall for two weeks. The children said in interviews they had handled meth and drug paraphernalia.

Bennett and Matich are charged with possession of a controlled substance, three counts of first degree endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs, second degree endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

They have both bonded out of the Audrain County Jail.
