The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released the names of a man and child found dead in Gasconade County on Monday.
The Patrol reports 37 year old Monty Jason Barton and 4 year old Bentlee J. Turner, both of Belle, were found near Valentine Ford Road.
The child had been reported missing on Sunday after being with Barton since the morning hours.
Officers located Barton’s vehicle and he and Turner were found nearby.
Autopsies are scheduled for Barton and Turner tomorrow [Thursday] in Columbia.
