Mexico Bulldogs Dominate Clinton Cardinals In Homecoming Game

It was a dominant 62-6 homecoming win for the Mexico Bulldogs over the Clinton Cardinals tonight (Friday) at Hawthorne Heights.

The Bulldogs scored early and often.

The first play of the game was an onside kick recovered by Mexico.

They would cash in for six points in just 11 seconds on a Ty Prince 53 yard touchdown pass to Isiah Reams.

Mexico then recovered a fumble by Clinton Tight End Levi Morris at the 45 yard line.

Dante Billups would jaunt into the end zone at the 8:12 mark in the first quarter making it 14-0.

Billups would end up with 3 scores on the night and 96 yards on the ground.

Bulldogs quarterback Ty Prince was 3 for 3 on passes with 77 yards and 2 scores and 22 yards rushing.

Ty Prince got it done on defense as well with 2 interceptions.

Isiah Reams with 100 yards rushing and a 47 yard touchdown pass.

Junior Tyler Marshall also had a game with 69 yards on the ground.

Senior defensive lineman Maverick Sadler would recover a fumbled ball in the end zone for six points.

The Bulldogs improved to 2-3 on the season.

They will be on the road next week against the undefeated Centralia Panthers.
