An Owensville man is charged with parental kidnapping, burglary, stalking and assault after a child was taken from a home just outside of Holts Summit Saturday night.
According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, 38 year old Rodney Trentmann allegedly entered a home, threatened the occupants and took the six year old child.
Yesterday, [Sunday] the Missouri State Highway Patrol located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in Gasconade County. The child was taken into protective custody at that time. Trentmann was arrested and transferred to the Callaway County Jail.
Callaway Judge Carol England ordered Trentmann be held without bond.
