KXEO Will Be Broadcasting Live From 9am Until 3pm At The Mexico Airport

Join AM 1340 KXEO starting at 9 this morning until 3 this afternoon for a live broadcast at the Mexico Airport as the Audrain County Health Department, and Missouri National Guard will be administering the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccines.

Audrain County as well as surrounding residents in Phase 1B-Tiers 1 and 2 will have the opportunity to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Those aged 65 and older or with high risk medical conditions fall under the eligible tiers.

The Missouri National Guard is assisting in the effort and their are enough doses to vaccinate up to 2,500 people.

Residents will be able to drive up to the Mexico Airport and the vaccine will be given on a first come first serve basis.

Those that receive the vaccine today will be able to return to the Mexico Airport in 3 weeks to receive their 2nd vaccine.

Mexico Public Safety is reminding people not to show up early and wait until traffic direction is in place before they come by.
