The St. Louis Cardinals return to the playoffs for the first time since 2015 starting a series with the Atlanta Braves on the road tonight (Thursday).

The Redbirds some good news as second baseman Kolten Wong will be in the lineup.

Wong took batting practice yesterday (Wednesday) in Atlanta and tested his injured hamstring and says he feels ready to start.

Sixteen game winner Dakota Hudson will be available out of the bullpen for the first 2 games of the series.

Tonight’s starter for St. Louis is Miles Mikolas.

First pitch is at 4:02.

The St. Louis Blues had their home opener spoiled by the Washington Capitals 3-2 in overtime last (Wednesday).

The Blues got off to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Sammy Blais and Alex Pietrangelo, and Jordan Binnington made 31 saves.

It was not enough as Washington scored three unanswered goals.

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Oakland A’s 5-1 in the American League Wild Card Game last (Wednesday) night.

The Rays crushed four home runs and will now go on to face the Houston Astros in the American League Divisional Series starting tomorrow (Friday) afternoon in Houston.
