The Mexico Bulldogs softball team on the road tonight (Wednesday) against the Hannibal Pirates.
The Lady Dogs will look to avenge a loss to the Pirates earlier this season where Hannibal beat them in Mexico 12-5 and ended the Bulldogs consecutive conference winning streak at 32.
Hayley Mills is the starting pitcher for Mexico.
Varsity has a 5pm start followed by junior varsity.
North Callaway Thunderbirds softball defeated Mark Twain 11-1 last (Tuesday) night.
The Thunderbirds run ruled Mark Twain in 5 innings. The next game will be tomorrow (Thursday) night and it is Senior Night in Auxvasse when North Callaway takes on Bowling Green.
The Thunderbirds are 10-12 overall and 6-3 in the EMO Conference.

The Mexico High School Girls Golf team placed fourth at districts today shooting a 419. [Tuesday]
Kylah Gore and Lilly Knipfel both earned all-district honors and will move on to sectionals.
Lilly placed second and Kylah came in 10th.
It’s win or go home this afternoon when the St. Louis Cardinals travel to Atlanta to face the Braves for game 5 of the National League Division Series.
In Division Series history, home teams are 13-19 in Game 5’s.
The pitching dual is a rematch from game 2 of this series.
St. Louis sends Jack Flaherty to the mound to face the Braves Mike Foltynewicz.
First pitch is scheduled for 4:02 this (Wednesday) evening.
In another do or die game in the National League Division series tonight (Wednesday) the Washington Nationals will battle the Los Angeles Dodgers.
That game starts at 7:37.
