Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes throwing in practice yesterday (Wednesday) is raising the possibility he could be back sooner than later from a dislocated kneecap.
Mahomes was injured last week on a quarterback sneak in Denver.
Initially it was thought he could miss up to 6 weeks, however x-rays and an MRI returned the best possible result.
According to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid he has not been ruled out for this Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers.
The Washington Nationals are now just 2 wins away from claiming their first World Series title after defeating the Houston Astros 12-3 last (Wednesday) night.
The Nationals broke game 2 wide open with a six run seventh inning.
Washington starter Stephen Strasburg picked up his 4th win of the postseason after throwing six innings.
Game 3 will be in D.C. tomorrow (Friday) night.
