MoDOT Watching Roads During Winter Weather

The Missouri Department of Transportation is warning drivers that Missouri may see winter weather tonight [Tuesday] through Thursday morning.

MoDOT says that pavement temperatures are expected to keep the roads wet or slushy, but there is a chance for freezing on bridges and overpasses.

MoDOT crews will be on the watch for frost and will treat bridges if freezing occurs.

MoDOT says when driving wear a seatbelt and put the phone down, don’t pass a snow plow and stay back six car lengths and if you are involved in a crash or encounter car problems to stay in your vehicle.
