Friday Night Lights Area High School Football Scores From Week One In District Playoffs

A host of area high school teams moving on in the high school football playoffs after week 1 of districts started last (Friday) night.

In Class 1, District 5 it was Marceline over St. Paul Lutheran 48-14.

Carrollton 29 Fayette 8

Slater shuts out Salisbury 40 to 0.

Brentwood blanks Louisiana 40 to 0.

South Callaway big over Westran 55 to 7.

South Shelby outlasted Mark Twain 28-20.

Harrisburg takes out Paris 30-22.

Class District 8 it was the 1one seed Scotland County 44-6 against Schuyler County.

South Harrison 56 Knox County 0.

In Class 2 District 4:

Lamar defeats California 49-14.

In Class 2 District 5 the Number 1 seeded Centralia Panthers rolled MMA 52-6.

Hallsville moving on defeating Father Tolton 41-18.

Hermann outlasts Montgomery County 28-24.

Christian ended North Callaway’s season with a 49-22 win.

Class 2 District 6:

Clark County dominated Van-Far 59-14.

Monroe City defeats Clopton-Elsberry 44-36.

Palmyra 44 Highland 12.

Macon beats Bowling Green 42-34.

In Class 3 District 4:

Moberly takes down Fulton 35-0.

Mexico dominates Wright City 40-6.

Class 3 District 5:

Defending state champions Blair Oaks all over St. James 68-7.

Buffalo 41 Eldon 6.

Class District 7:

Southern Boone takes out St. Michael the Archangel of Kansas City 48-3.

Boonville comes back to beat Oak Grove 47-26.

Class 4 District 4:

Hannibal 56 Ft. Zumwalt East 0

St. Dominic 38 Marshall 14

In a wild one Kirksville upsets Warrenton 35-34.

Class 4 District 5:

Helias handles Rolla 34-21.

Class 6 District 2:

Troy Buchanan ends Hickman’s season 14-6.

Blue Springs by a touchdown over Rock Bridge 17-10.

Class 6 District 3:

Joplin 68 Jefferson City 16.
