Lifetime Mexico, resident, and store owner Melody Farnen will be the recipient of the Stribling Community Service Award.
The Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce will present the award at the annual meeting and dinner January 17th, 2020 at the Mexico Elks Lodge.
Farnen is the owner of Melody’s Quality Jewelry and graduated from Mexico High School in 1979, and was a 1981 graduate of Hannibal LaGrange College.
The Stribling Award is given for exemplary efforts on behalf of the Community of Mexico for an extended period, the recipients of the award can only be nominated by past presidents of the chamber.
