Audrain Emergency Management Offers Tips For Driving On Slick Roads

The National Weather Service says that even though the snow has stopped in most of mid-Missouri, road conditions could continue to deteriorate as temperatures drop and moisture on the roadway freezes.

Audrain County Emergency Management Director Nicholas Tietsort asks drivers to be mindful of crews working on the roads and give them plenty of room to work.

Tietsort says snow plow trucks move slowly and might make frequent turns, so avoid driving too closely.

He continues by saying people should plan for a slower drive until roadways are clear, and allow plenty of time to arrive at the destination.
