The Ralls County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying someone suspected of poaching a deer in the area of Highway M early yesterday [Sunday] morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, a witness reported seeing an 80s or 90s model white truck with no bed and no license plates. The vehicle left the area towards Highway 61.
A buck, which had been freshly shot, was located in the field where the poachers were seen.
This is the third deer within 48 hours to be poached in that area.
