Governor Mike Parson toured an upcoming bridge project in Callaway County this afternoon. [Thursday]
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the bridge on Route D over Interstate 70 is 56 years old and beyond repair.
The project will cost more than $1.5 million to replace.
The bridge is part of Parson’s “Focus on Bridges” program. The initiative sets aside $50 million in state general revenue to fund 45 high-priority bridge projects throughout the state.
