Lutheran St. Charles Ends Mexico Bulldogs Football Season In District Championship Game

The Mexico Bulldogs had the 2019 season come to an end with a 42 to 14 loss to St. Charles Lutheran in the Class 3 District 4 District Championship game on the road tonight (Friday).

The Bulldogs would give up 2 touchdowns to Lutheran and trail 14-0 after the first quarter.

Mexico would march down the field in the 2nd quarter and get their first score on a 2 yard quarterback keeper by Ty Prince.

Lutheran would score again before half making it 21-7.

In the third quarter Mexico’s defense would put up a score on a pick 6 by Isiah Reams making it 21-14.

Lutheran would then go on to put up 3 touchdowns and move on as the Class 3 District 4 Champions.

The Mexico Bulldogs end the season with a 6-6 overall record.
