The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for most of the listening area that will go into effect at midnight and continue until 3:00 tomorrow afternoon. [Wednesday]
West winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts has high as 60 miles per hour are expected.
These damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines, and widespread power outages are possible.
Travel will be impacted, especially for high profile vehicles.
The National Weather Service reports the highest winds are expected from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m.
