Mexico Public Safety reports no one was injured in a fire in the 1200 block of North Clark at around 12:44 this morning. [Wednesday]
Responding personnel learned that a caretaker of a property in that block had been burning leaves and yard waste earlier and thought the fire was extinguished.
As the wind increased, the fire rekindled and began blowing across the property.
The fire was contained and extinguished with no property damage.
