The statue of Ceres will soon be returned to the top of the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.
The statue was removed from the capitol dome in November of 2018. She was taken to Chicago for restoration that included laser cleaning treatment to safely remove contaminants while preserving her natural color.
Ceres will be available for public viewing beginning December 6th and will be removed the morning of December 9th for final preparations to be lifted to the top of the capitol during the week of December 16.
