The Missouri Tigers have reportedly found their new head football coach.

The job will be going to Eli Drinkwitz from Applachian State, pending approval by the UM Board of Curators.

The official announcement from the University is expected early this week.

The 36 year old Drinkwitz, led Applachian State to a 12-1 record and a Sun Belt Conference Championship in only his first season as head coach.

Before becoming the head coach at Appalacian State, Drinkwitz worked as an offensive coordinator at Arkansas State, Boise State, and North Carolina State.

The Kansas City Chiefs have locked up their fourth straight AFC West title after going into Foxborough and defeating the New England Patriots 23-16 yesterday (Sunday).

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 26-40 passes for 283 yards and a touchdown.

The Chiefs return to Arrowhead Stadium this Sunday for a match-up against the rival Denver Broncos.

The Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball dropped a close road contest to Kansas City 59-56 yesterday afternoon.

Mizzou was led by senior guard Amber Smith and freshman forward Hayley Frank, who each had 12 points.

Former St. Louis Cardinal Ted Simmons is now a member of baseball’s Hall of Fame.

The Modern Baseball Era Committee elected Simmons to the Hall of Fame yesterday (Sunday) as part of the Class of 2020.

The catcher played for the Cardinals, Brewers, and Braves over 21 seasons. His final playing totals include a .285 batting average, 2,472 hits, 248 home runs and 1,389 RBI.
