The Mexico Lady Bulldogs basketball lost 59-55 to Harrisburg on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

The Mexico girls came back from an 18-point deficit in the 4th quarter, however, the comeback fell short.

Mexico’s Claire Hudson finished with 22 points and Grace Hudson put up 16 points.

Mexico is now 1-1 on the season and will start in the Montgomery County Tournament next week.

Several Missouri Military Academy Colonels soccer players have earned all-state and all-region honors from the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association.

Cadet Fernando Puebla was named all-state offensive player of the year.

Coach Elliot Goodwin, earned all-state private coach of the year honors.

Cadets Avin Hernandez and Fernando Puebla, each were named to the all-state and all-region first team.

Cadets Eric Shellabarger and Alexander McBride, were named to the all-state and all-region second team.

The Colonels soccer team ended the season with a 2nd place finish in Class 1 in the state tournament with a record of 17-5.

The University of Missouri women’s basketball team earned an 85-57 victory over Wichita State last (Tuesday) night in the Emerald Coast Classic in Florida.

Ashton Judd led the Tigers offense with 22 points.

Up next the Mizzou women return to Columbia to face Jacksonville on Sunday at Mizzou Arena.

University of Missouri men’s basketball opens the holiday weekend with an in-state match-up against Lindenwood tonight (Wednesday).

Tip-off is set for 5:30 at Mizzou Arena.

The St. Louis Blues will be on the road tonight (Wednesday) skating against the New Jersey Devils.

Puck drops at 6pm.
