In baseball free agent pitcher Michael Wacha is headed to the New York Mets for the upcoming season.
The now former Cardinal agreed to a one year, 3 million dollar deal with the Mets.
The 28 year old Wacha was 6-7 with a 4.76 era in 29 games for the Cardinals this past season.
Former Missouri Tigers quarterback Drew Lock is nominated for the Rookie of the Week award on NFL.com.
Lock has led the Denver Broncos to 2 straight wins since being named starter.
Lock led the Broncos to a 38-24 win over the Texans this past week and is the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era to throw for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first start on the road.
