ARRESTS:
Mexico Public reports the arrest of 32 year old Devin M. Heinz Saturday, December 28, on an Audrain County Warrant.
29 year old Tamika L. Simmons arrested Saturday, for a Callaway County Warrant and a Montgomery County Warrant.
CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, December 27th:
Threats at East Holt, on East Jackson and at North Coal.
Suspicious activity on East Liberty.
A fraud at 4820 South Clark.
A natural gas odor on South Calhoun.
Leaving without paying for gas at 1719 South Clark and at 828 West Monroe.
Trespassing at 4820 South Clark.
Public safety went to these calls on Saturday, December 29th:
Threats at Fairground.
A stealing or theft reported at 4820 South Clark.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls yesterday (Sunday):
Harassment at South Abat and on North Clark.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A Columbia man is recovering from injuries after suffering a seizure while driving in Mexico on East Liberty at the Highway 54 By Pass. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened Thursday night December 26th just after 10pm.
71 year old Donald Connor had his vehicle leave the road and land in a ditch after he had a seizure.
Connor was taken to SSM Audrain for treatment.
A 2 car accident reported on Holt at Boulevard.
According to the accident report it happened Thursday, December 26th around 12:20pm.
A vehicle driven by 25 year old Christopher W. Walker of Mexico, backed into a vehicle driven by 74 year old Malinda Besheers of Vandalia.
Walker told officers he was trying to allow room for a semi truck that was turning. No injuries reported.
