A fifth Mexicoan is now in the race for one of two city council seats up for election in April.
James Oxford is the most recent filing according to the Mexico City Clerk’s office.
Oxford joins Dr. Ayanna Shivers, Steve Haag, Joshua Price, and Thomas Hugo as candidates for the two seats.
Dr. Shivers is filing for re-election while Steve Nichols is not seeking re-election.
The election takes place on April 7th.
