Mexico Wins Battle Of Bulldogs Against Brookfield In Basketball Double Header

The Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Teams Defeated the Brookfield Bulldogs in a non-conference road double header tonight (Thursday).

The Mexico Girls picked up win number 16 on the season with a 51-46 win over Brookfield.

Unofficial stats had Mya Miller leading the team with 17 points, and Logan Blevins reaching double digits with 11.

Reghan Smith with 7, Taylor Demint drained two three pointers for six points.

Abby Oetting and Riley Thurman with 3 points each and Rachel Kristofferson and Taylor Sherrow had 2 points each.

The Lady Bulldogs won their 7th consecutive game.

The Mexico Boys Basketball have their record back over .500 again this season after defeating Brookfield 59-52.

Unofficial stats had Isiah Reams leading the team with 23 points, followed by Drew Blevins with 14, and Raef Yager with 10.

Rounding out the scoring book Ty Prince and Zach Watkins with 4 points each.

Michael White and Keyon Mahaney with 2 point each.

Mexico Boys are now 13-12 overall. It is Senior Night at the Gary Filbert Court tomorrow (Friday) night when the Mexico Bulldogs face the Moberly Spartans.

KXEO will carry both varsity games with a 5:50 pre-game and Varsity Girls tipping at 6 followed by the Varsity Boys.
