A man is facing burglary charges following an arrest in Mexico.
According to Mexico Public Safety they went to the 900 Block of West Breckenridge in reference to a burglary that had just happened on Friday morning.
Officers say John S. Kelly Jr. forced his way into a home in that block at a time he thought no one would be home.
Kelly is accused of taking some property that was evidence in another crime he is being investigated for.
There are currently court orders of protection in place stating Kelly was not to be at the address or have contact with the residents.
He was arrested and taken to the Audrain County Jail.
