ARRESTS:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 38 year old John S. Kelly on Friday for a violation of a order of protection and first degree burglary.

19 year old Mason N. Crenshaw arrested Saturday for a Boone County Warrant and resisting arrest.

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, February 21st:

A stealing or theft on West Monroe.

A scam on East Liberty.

Threats at West Monroe.

A natural gas odor on North Clark.

Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, February 22nd:

Threats at North Clark.

Shop lifting at 4820 South Clark.

A scam on Southmor.

Public Safety went to these calls for service yesterday (Sunday):

A scam on Ashley Street.

Leaving without paying for gas at West Monroe.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

One person taken to the hospital after a 2 car accident on 113 East Jackson.

According to the accident report it happened on Saturday, February 22nd at 11:55 am.

A vehicle driven by 25 year old Rene A. Martinez of Vandalia pulled out of a no parking zone and failed to yield and was hit by a vehicle driven by 52 year old Dana M. Howard of Fulton.

Howard was taken to SSM Audrain due to pain in the right side of her body.

 

A 2 car accident on Friday, February 21st on Missouri at Love at 8:06 am.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 17 year old Mexico girl pulled out in front of  a vehicle driven by 41 year old Lindsey Ward of Centralia.

No injuries reported.

 

An accident involving a trash truck reported on Saturday, February 21st at 8:53 am.

According to the accident report a trash truck was parked diagonal in the 800 block of North Kentucky when an unknown driver of a silver or grey pickup truck drove around partially in the grass and clipped the front bumper of trash truck and left the scene.

No injuries reported.
