Intoxicated Man In Fulton Resists Arrest Twice In Same Day

A man is in the Callaway County Jail following an arrest yesterday (Monday) afternoon in Fulton where he resisted officers twice.

According to Fulton Police 52 year old Evans Tilman was at a Breaktime and resisted arrest as officers took him into custody for active warrants out of Boone and Cole County.

Tilman was taken to the Fulton Medical Center Emergency Room due to his level of intoxication according to police.

After being cleared by medical staff police say Tilman tried to escape custody.

When a citizen saw the incident, they assisted the officer and helped hold down Tilman until handcuffs were placed on him.

He was put on a no bond hold after being taken to the Callaway County Jail.
