Governor Parson Orders New Restriction On Public Gathering And Announces Second Death In State Due To COVID-19

Governor Mike Parson announcing a new restriction on gatherings of 10 or more people.

Parson made the announcement during his daily press conference yesterday (Friday) and also reported the 2nd death in the state in Jackson County.

Parson warned the coronavirus situation is rapidly changing and with there being an increases in testing more cases can be expected and possibly more deaths.

A new order by the governor prohibits gathering or more than 10 people, however will not apply to religious services, hospitals, grocery stores, pharmacies and other cornerstones of the community and it will not apply to the functions of state government.
