A stealing or theft reported on South Mississippi and at North Coal.
Property damage on 300 North Coal.
A fight in progress at the corner of Springdale and Omar.
A careless and imprudent driver on South Muldrow.
Leaving without paying for gas at 3066 South Clark.
Threats on Latney.
Twenty five new teachers are being welcomed into the Mexico School District this year. Chuck Duncan says he has teaching experience. Courtney Holmes previously worked at the Paris School District. An orientation and luncheon provided by Show-Me Credit Union took place today (Wednesday) at Central Office.
A threat rumor at Mexico Middle School this (Friday) morning is being deemed less than credible. Administration and the school resource officer investigated the threat rumor and determined there was not a credible threat, according to a release from the Mexico Public School district.

The Oaks in Mexico is announcing Logan Schlemmer as the new Golf Course Superintendent. Logan is a Mexico resident who has eight plus years of golf course experience at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia. Logan also coached the Mexico Middle School boys basketball team this past season.
