Laura Miller George Help Center In Mexico Announces Changes Due To COVID-19

Effective beginning today, Wednesday March 25, 2020, The Laura Miller George Help Center Thrift Store will be closed indefinitely.

Food distributions will continue to occur per the following:

Monday morning Sharing food with our neighbors is indefinitely cancelled.

All once monthly supplemental food distribution will continue to occur.

Every Wednesday we will distribute food at the Help center from 9:00am-12:00pm

Every Friday we will distribute supplemental food at the Help Center from 3:00pm-6:00pm

According to the Help Center Director Phillip Iman, all distributions at the Help center will occur out the back of the building and will be a drive through type distribution.

A Help Center staff member will meet you at your vehicle, gather your name and date of birth, and guide you to a parking area.

They will then verify your information and bring out and load your food for you.

They ask you do not leave your vehicle.

New participants are still welcome and will receive food on the same day, after completing the application.

Because of the high demand for supplemental food, each family will only be allowed food once per month.

They  will supply as much food as possible, as supplies come to us.
