Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday), June 28, 2023:
- Suspicious person on West Breckenridge Drive and at North Wade/Hendrix.
- Threats on Josephine.
- Animal or neglect reported at Franklin Road.
- Unwanted subject on West Monroe.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 on West Breckenridge Drive near Boulevard. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Barbara Foos of Mexico backed out of a driveway and into a vehicle driven by 68-year-old Mary Hilburn of Mexico. According to the accident report Foos did not see the vehicle due to the sun being in her eyes. No injuries were reported.
