Mexico School District Extends Current Closure
The Mexico School District is extending their current closure through Friday, May 1st.
In an email to parents yesterday (Thursday) the district says the difficult decision was made to ensure the continued health and safety of the students, staff, and community and aligns with the social distancing recommendations from the CDC and Audrain County health officials.
The district says it has plans in place to continue to feed students as long as possible and teachers are working remotely to provide consistency in learning for the students.
