Missouri Athletic Director Jim Sterk says they are getting input from coaches on how to prepare for fall sports.

In a press conference held yesterday on Zoom, Sterk says if in-person activities are delayed until June 1st, moving back volleyball, soccer, football, the SEC is getting input from the coaches on what is the build-up going to look like for those sports to occur.

Sterk says if they need to defer it to June 15th, then they will make accommodations there.

If it is July 1st, they will try to do that, however they are planning on the season happening.

Former St. Louis Cardinals All-Star center fielder and current FOX Sports Midwest broadcaster Jim Edmonds says he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 49 year old Edmonds shared the news on social media Wednesday night, and says he is now symptom-free.

Edmonds has been resting at his home since the weekend, says he is doing well and feeling great.

President of baseball operations for the Cardinals John Mozeliak said yesterday morning that the team has retraced Edmonds’ steps and interactions during Spring Training, and was not sure if Edmonds had been around the team at the time he was carrying the virus.
