Governor Parson Calls For Schools To Close For The Rest Of The School Year

In a Facebook post this afternoon, Governor Mike Parson is ordering all public and charter schools in Missouri to close for the rest of the academic year.

The recommendation was made after consulting with the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education and superintendents from around the state.

Nutrition services and child care that are outlined in the stay at home order can continue and Parson encourages schools to continue remote learning for students until the last day of school originally set on their calendar.
