KXEO Sports Report For 4/16/20

dr. anthony fauci

The nation’s top infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci says he sees a path for live sports to return during the summer and the fall, even as the nation deals with the coronavirus pandemic.

Fauci said in a recent interview that nobody comes to the stadium, and put the players in big hotels wherever you want to play and have them tested every week.

Fauci’s comments come as Major League Baseball is reportedly considering plans on how it could begin its 2020 season.

The NFL is proceeding as though the season will be played as scheduled though off-season training will be completely virtual and the NFL Draft will be completely remote.
