A Vandalia man was issued a summons for allegedly being a sex offender within 500 feet of the city pool.
According to the Vandalia Police, officers responded to the 400 block of Highland Street where 43 year old Daniel Miller was located, and positively identified as a sex offender.
He was taken to the Vandalia Police Department where he was processed and released on a summons.
