Mexico Woman Sentenced To Prison For Tampering With A Motor Vehicle And Possession Of A Controlled Substance

A Mexico woman is now sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.

According to court records 31 year old Mary Madeline Eells admitted that she took a vehicle from the driveway of the owner without permission, after finding the vehicle running in the owner’s driveway.

Police responded and attempted to stop the stolen driven by Eells, and she then parked the vehicle and fled on foot.

The judge sentenced her to 4 years in prison for each of the offenses, and also sentenced her to 4 years in prison on each of 2 charges of possession of a controlled substance.

The judge recommended that Eells complete a substance abuse treatment program within the Department of Corrections before being considered for release.
