Mizzou defensive lineman Antar Thompson is now suspended indefinitely from the football team after being arrested over the weekend.

MUPD arrested Thompson on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner and resisting arrest or detention stop by fleeing according to an MUPD spokesperson.

Thompson was arrested on Sunday afternoon after an initial incident that happened Friday night according to police.

The St. Louis native played in 4 games last year and finished the season with 4 tackles.

Most Major League Baseball teams are pledging to pay baseball operations staffs through at least the end of May according to a report from ESPN.

A financial crunch has left some front offices fearing layoffs and furloughs, however 18 teams including the Kansas City Royals and the St. Louis Cardinals have told baseball operations employees that they will be paid through May.

Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred told reporters yesterday that he fully anticipates baseball will return this season, however it is very difficult to predict with any accuracy the timeline for resumption of the season.
