The Kansas City Chiefs announcing yesterday they have extended Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes contract for a fifth year according to an NFL insider.
The move will keep the star quarterback with the Chiefs through at least the 2021-22 season with a massive pay increase.
In 2020 Mahomes has a base salary of 850,000, however the fifth year option salary will mean that he will get over 24 million in 2021.
It is being reported that Mahomes may sign a longer contract with Kansas City this year.
It is expected to be the NFL’s first 200 million dollar contract, which could make the quarterback the first player in history to score 40 million dollars a year.
The Missouri Tigers Football team has landed a 4 star defensive end out of St. Louis.
Coach Eli Drinkwitz announced yesterday the Tigers 7th commitment of the 2021 class is 222 pound, 6’3 Lutheran North defensive end Travion Ford.
He had offers on the table from Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and just about every big school out there before choosing to play for the black and gold.
