MU started the beginning process in a potential campus reopening yesterday, as Memorial Stadium’s South End Zone building started to resume operations.

The athletic facility began a soft reopening as the university continues to formulate a plan to repopulate the campus according to a spokesperson from the university.

The timeline on that plan is still uncertain.

The training facility was selected to start initial operations due to student athletes remaining in Columbia getting treatment for injuries.

According to a spokesperson for MU Athletics, it is possible by the end of the week 2 other facilities may come back online.

The campus has been operating remotely since March 23rd.
