Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 40 year old William M. Shirley yesterday (Tuesday) for a Buchanan County warrant.

Property damage on the corner of Lakeview Road and Western.
Trespassing at the West Plaza Shopping Center and at 3066 South Clark.
A stealing or theft on Lakeview Road.
An identity theft at MacFarlane.
CALLS FOR SERVICE: Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Tuesday): A report of animal abuse or neglect on South Morris Street. Threats at East Bolivar. Property damage on Jubel Drive and East Bolivar. A sexual assault reported at South Washington.
West Jackson between Clark and Olive will be be closed today for water service work. According to the City of Mexico Public Works Department, M&M Trenching will be doing the work and the block will remain open to local traffic only. The work is anticipated to be done by 3 this (Wednesday) afternoon.
