The St. Louis Cardinals and their final draft pick in this year’s MLB Draft class have agreed to terms.
Missouri right-hander Ian Bedell signed a contract in St. Louis yesterday (Friday).
Tied with the San Francisco Giants with an MLB-high 7 picks in this year’s five round draft, the Redbirds worked quickly and finalized contracts with all 7 players.
The Kansas City Royals getting ready for summer camp to open next week.
Players are expected to report on Wednesday at Kauffman Stadium, where they will be tested for COVID-19.
Royals medical officials will allow 24-48 hours for results to be accumulated, and the first actual workout is scheduled for next Friday.
Tomorrow, the Royals 60-man pool will be set, which will be a mix of 40-man roster of players and many of the non-roster invitees from Spring Training.
