Residents in Mexico are being warned about a scam.
Mexico Public Safety says a resident was recently contacted numerous times from someone calling and claiming to be with the Social Security Administration.
The caller wanted information from the resident, to supposedly update their account.
When the resident refused and stopped answering the calls, the caller then left a voicemail saying that if the resident did not answer the phone and give the information requested, law enforcement would come arrest them.
Residents are being reminded that no legitimate business will call and need your personal information, such as date of birth and social security number.
